As his usual ways of mobilizing people and strengthening his ward, Ugboroko1 ward2 to deliver 100% votes for His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu second term bide.
For some weeks now, Hon., Surveyor Alhaji Saka Kazeem Ajiborode has been working tirelessly to woo some of the people that belong to other political parties, and one of them is a big fish in Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ugboroko1 ward2 in the person of Hon. Jimoh Kazeem Obalola, to mobilize his loyalists to vote for Aketi on October 10, 2020.
Yesterday Ugboroko1 ward2 was full with capacity where Obalola and his loyalists publicly declared to mobilize more people to vote for Aketi in the forthcoming governorship election.
Speaking during his declaration, Obalola said: “We all need to join hands together to move Owo community forward by voting in Akeredolu who has been able to transform Owo kingdom”.
“I and all my loyalists are ready to work for Akeredolu to win the October 10, 2020, gubernatorial election in Ondo State”
He also assured the people present at the get together meeting to mobilize more people and that meeting upon meetings will be coming up bearly on daily basis to strengthen the commitment of the people of Ugboroko1 ward2.
In his word at the meeting, Alhaji Saka Ajiborode who appreciated some APC strong members who were present at the meeting, people like Hon. Femi Adekanbi, S.A on Natural Resources Hon. Fatai Lawal, Chief Tunde Ilori the Elerewe of Owo kingdom and many other strong pillars of Ugboroko1 ward2.
Ajiborode said he appreciated Almighty God for making today meeting reality and also sincerely thanked Obalola and his loyalists for taking bold steps to join APC in voting Aketi in for the second term.
Hon. Ajiborode said all the sons and daughters of Owo town should be happy for having someone like Governor Akeredolu who had been doing well for the development of Ondo State.
He further explained that all the Traditional rulers in Akoko and other senatorial districts have adopted Aketi as their sole candidate for the forthcoming governorship election.
He said since other local governments and communities have adopted him, all that remains for Owo people is to mobilize our families both here in the town, communities around Owo and all the shacks in Owo Community to vote for Governor Akeredolu.
According to Surv. Ajiborode, “meetings upon meetings, consultation upon consultations ll be on-going till the day of the election and we are going to be connecting with people at the grassroots so that they can also be part of the wave of new things and new development that Governor Akeredolu is bringing into Owo community and in Ondo State at large”.
For the continuation of strengthening and gearing up the people for more mobilization of votes for Aketi, Alhaji Ajiborode donated the sum of #50, 000 and he promised to do more at the subsequent meetings.
Also speaking at the venue of the meeting, High Chief Tunde Ilori, the Elerewe of Owo kingdom. The Traditional leader on his usual first greetings to the Olowo of Owo Ọba Àjìbáde Gbádégẹṣin Ogunoye III ” Òrìsàkè má dún-ún se Ologho o”
Chief Elerewe said he is so happy having the presence of Obalola in the meeting “am so happy seeing Obalola with us today, Obalola has been my headache in this Ugboroko1 ward2 and I sincerely appreciate Alhaji Saka Ajiborode for bringing him on board to work for Aketi re-elect”.
The traditional leader said Aketi election is Owo election which everybody must come out and vote for him for our own good, development of our community and for the future of our children.
High Chief Elerewe said, “with Obalola in their midst Aketi will have a free ride in Ugboroko1 ward2 because he has the mathematics of working things out when it comes to election.
“Obalola who is popularly referred to as the king of the boy, area father and man of the people has the capacity and the capability to mobilize people in large numbers for this coming gubernatorial election”.
“I’m happy that Obalola has joined APC for the purpose of re-electing Aketi for the second term and I pray he will not regret joining the winning family”
