Oluwagbemileke was born on Sunday, March 01, 1998 to Pastor Olusola and Olubunmi Jegede.
She passed her national primary school Exams at age 9 and also sat for Basic Education School Exams (BECE) at 12 and passed. She passed West Africa School Certificate Exams with an outstanding result at 14 and gained entrance into university at 14 with two different universities of her choice.
She graduated with 1st Division in Bachelors of Administration at the age of 17 and graduated with First Class Honours in Law from Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone at 18. Making her the youngest graduate in Africa.

Gbemileke became was called to bar at age 20 and becoming the youngest lawyer in Africa. The second youngest lawyer in the world from all available records.
She is the Agriculture Sector Expenditure Specialist with the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) in Sierra Leone.
Oluwagbemileke Joy Jegede is an indigene of Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, currently living in Sierra Leone.
