The EndSARS protest that started peacefully took another dimension on Tuesday night, October 20, 2020, when security agents allegedly open fire on EndSARS protesters at Lekki tollgate.

Nigerian DJ, songwriter and musician who emerged as the winner of the first edition of the Glo X-Factor in 2013, Obianuju Catherine Udeh popularly known as DJ Switch played a big role to save many lives when security agents opened fire on #EndSARS protesters on Tuesday night.

The Nigerian Army has denied shooting at the protesters, in spite of different evidence. Also, the Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his speech admitted that two people died from the Lekki shooting while he promised a further investigation.

Amnesty International confirmed that at least 12 people were killed both at Alausa and Lekki toll gate.

The International Community as well as the United States government strongly condemned the killings and incidents of military forces firing on unarmed EndSARS protestors while demanded prosecution.

DJ Switch took to her Instagram page to share her experience during the deadly attack.

See below the 10 minutes video clip while she called on the Nigerian government to address the incident.
“To our leaders, I urge you, please do not minimize the suffering of families. Do not insult the grief of Nigerians, do not insult the intelligence of Nigerians, do not insult the pain that families are facing,”
