I read Olawale Olaleye‘s excellent post on treachery in the Big Brother Naija house. I can say without hesitation that it happens in real life. When Prince saw that Trikitee nominated him he was really shocked. That other nominated him didn’t shock him. Kiddwaya must have been shocked that Ozo, whom he always counselled about how to handle his mortal obsession with Nengi would go on to nominate him. Ozo never liked Kiddwaya as he saw him as a threat. He thought Kidd was after Nengi. But he was wrong. I agree that they all want the money, but true friends will not nominate each other.

They will expect to be among the five that will be in the house until the final day. That was why Laycon did not nominate Kiddwaya. He knows he’s his good friend, he knows Kiddwaya has good plans to support his music career, he knows that even when he had a disagreement with Kiddwaya’s woman, Erica, Kiddwaya still stood by him. He knows life does not end in the house. I do not see Neo nominating Vee. I have heard Tacha say viewers do not determine the winner. That’s a load of rubbish. When Efe won the big prize, when Mercy Eke won it when Miracle won it they were favourites. This time around Laycon is the firm favourite unless he gets himself disqualified. Which is most unlikely.
